Model and Perpectives

This is the staircase which I designed with a tall glass window facing Victoria St. This staircase is visible from the street to give a glimpse into the house while engaging the person the stairs with the street.

My building is made up of three distinct sections. House 1, House 2 (artist's house) and the Public Gallery space. I designed the houses with bachelor's in mind. House 1 particularly has large open spaces which are multifunction rooms for living, sleeping and dining. The gallery is two floors with a section that combines the two floor heights.

This is a perspective of the staircase running from the 1st floor of the Artist's house to the 2nd.

Dining and lounging area looking the balcony of House 1.

Project 3 - 1st concept

The entry to the second house is hidden.

I first started my conceptual design on Sketchup by drawing space of which the building was comprised of. At this point I was focusing on my interpretation of Loos' idea about "designing spaces not floors"
